REGULATIONS
1. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
Pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, as amended by Law no. 205/2021, all personal data of our Guests will be processed both electronically and manually in order to fulfill tax obligations (issuing invoices, recording data, etc.) and to send advertising material and commercial promotions related to our Residence.
Upon arrival, guests will be required to present a valid identification document for the purpose of reporting their presence to the competent police authorities.
2. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
Check-in time: from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
If, due to unforeseen circumstances, arrival within the scheduled time is not possible, it is essential to notify the Reception.
Check-out time: by 10:00 AM.
As clearly stated on the Property’s website and on the reservation confirmation, check-out time is set at 10:00 AM. A delay of up to 30 minutes is tolerated for vacating the room of persons and belongings.
If the room is still occupied after 10:30 AM by persons or personal belongings (such as luggage or other items), a penalty equal to one additional night will be charged, without granting the right to stay. The guest must vacate the room in any case.
If the guest wishes to request a late check-out (maximum until 6:00 PM), prior authorization from Reception is required. If availability is granted, the maximum departure time and the additional hourly cost will be communicated. If the room is not vacated within the agreed time, the guest will be required to pay for an additional overnight stay without the right to remain in the room.
3. HOW TO BOOK
Reservations can be made by phone, through the website www.hibiscusunotropea.com, or by email at info@hibiscusunotropea.com.
A quotation does not constitute a reservation.
Children up to 5 years old stay free of charge.
The balance of the stay must be paid no later than the evening before the check-out date.
3.1 SERVICES INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
APARTMENTS
The price includes:

Bed linen and towels at check-in, with replacement every seven days

Air conditioning (for safety reasons, it must remain turned off when the guest is not in the apartment; otherwise, the air conditioning service will be suspended)

Outdoor parking space within the Property (the Property is not responsible for any damage to vehicles such as cars or motorcycles within the premises)

Transfer to and/or from Tropea Railway Station

Garden equipped with children’s playground

Gazebo with large table for relaxing dinners with friends

ROOMS
The price includes:

3.2 ADDITIONAL REQUEST FOR BED OR BATH LINEN
Each room is provided with bed linen (double/single sheets) and towels (1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, 1 guest towel per person).
If the guest requests additional linen beyond what is supplied in the room, an extra charge will apply.
For hygiene reasons, WHITE BATH TOWELS may not be used outside the room. Beach or garden towels may be requested at an additional cost based on the number of towels requested.
4. DAMAGE TO THE PROPERTY
Guests who cause damage to the Property, room furnishings, or lose/damage the keys provided by Reception will be required to pay a penalty calculated according to the extent of the damage. The amount will be charged to the stay.
All furnishings and linen in the rooms are property of the establishment. Each room is supplied with bed and bath linen proportionate to the number of occupants.
If any item supplied with the room is found missing during the stay, a penalty will be applied to the guest’s account.
Before handing over each room and at check-in, every room is inspected to ensure everything is in order and functioning properly. Any damage detected during the stay, at check-out, or after the guest has departed will be documented and charged according to the actual cost of repair or replacement.
4.1 PETS
Guests may stay with their pets (maximum of two animals) exclusively in the apartments.
Pets are not allowed in sea-view rooms or in the bar/restaurant area.
During the stay, the owner is responsible for any damage caused by the animal. Once the damage has been assessed, the cost will be charged to the stay.
5. GENERAL RULES OF CONDUCT IN ROOMS AND THROUGHOUT THE PROPERTY.
PROHIBITION OF ENTRY INTO ROOMS AND THE PROPERTY BY UNAUTHORIZED PERSONS.
For security and privacy reasons, visits from family or friends must be authorized by Management. Visitors must leave an identity document at Reception, which will be returned upon leaving the Property.
If a guest brings into the room a person unknown to Management and whose identity has not been previously registered, a penalty equal to the maximum rate for a double room will be charged, even if the unauthorized access occurred in a single room. Management also reserves the unquestionable right to terminate the contract and request the guest to leave the Property.
In the event that the accompanying person refuses identification, the public authorities will be contacted to obtain compliance.
NIGHT QUIET HOURS
From 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM, noise levels must be kept low in all rooms. Guests are also requested to maintain quiet behavior in the garden area.
These rules are considered known and accepted by guests at the time of check-in. A copy of these regulations is available in each room and on the website www.hibiscusunotropea.com
